THE heartbroken family of a woman who died suddenly in her sleep have paid tribute to someone who “touched the lives of everyone she met”.

Laura Hull, nee Taylor, was a successful and popular barber with a passion for her work, music and Formula One.

She is mourned by a huge circle of family and friends, including devoted husband Rob, mum Valery and dad Mick.

The 39-year-old, of Leighville Grove, Leigh, had no underlying health issues and there is no explanation yet as to why she died suddenly on Wednesday morning.

Valery, of Bonchurch Avenue, Leigh, said: “She always lived life to the absolute full. That, in a way, is a comfort, because I know she loved every moment she was alive.

“I didn’t raise my daughter to shy away from anything.

“She had so many friends and family who loved her. That is the only way any of us can get through this – by talking about her and remembering her.”

Laura was born in Rochford and went to Leigh North Street Junior School and later the Deanes School, in Thundersley.

She owned and ran the barbers Harry B’s, in Clifftown Road, Southend. The business grew as Laura offered customers a shoulder to cry on when needed.

Her mum added: “So many people knew Laura through the shop. She was so close to her colleagues and customers and would offer anyone who needed it a cup of tea and sympathy.

“The number of people whose lives she touched was incredible.

“She was passionate about her job and people’s hair. She was also a great businesswoman. If she wanted to do something, she would go and do it.

“She also loved the house she shared with Rob and was always decorating and making it look stunning.”

Laura had three brothers, Jay, Will and Olly, and was inseparable from best friend Becky Davison.

Funeral details have not yet been arranged, but a tribute page, RIP Laura Hull nee Taylor, has been set up on Facebook.
