DUST down your platforms and flares as Abba Mania hits the Cliffs Pavilion, in Westcliff, tonight.
One the world’s biggest touring musicals, it features all the music from Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and Anna including Mamma Mia, Voulez Vous, and Dancing Queen.
Abba need little introduction, but perhaps one note of interest is that in their heyday they became Sweden’s highest export earners, outselling Volvo cars.
For Abba Mania, theatre producer Stuart Littlewood wanted to re-create a true-to- life Abba concert featuring great performers and high production values for a new generation of fans. In 2008 the stage musical transferred on to the big screen and broke all box office ratings making it the most successful Hollywood film musical of all time.
