A ROAD was closed after a serious accident between a car and a motorbike.
South Street in Rochford was closed both ways after the incident which happened at 9am this morning.
The collision occured outside the police station near to North Street and Back Lane.
The rider and his pillion passenger were knocked from the bike. The male rider of the bike, in his 30’s, suffered back and leg injuries and was taken to hospital.
The pillion passenger and the driver of the car were uninjured.
